ANSON COUNTY — In efforts to strengthen our communities across the district, Duke Energy recently to presented a Duke Energy Foundation grant for $5,000 to the Anson County Farmers Market.
Foundation officials said this funding will help expand the market’s parking lot, addressing current capacity limitations and allowing even more local farmers to showcase their delicious, homegrown produce.
“Supporting our farmers not only boosts the local economy but also brings fresh, healthy food to our tables,” they said. “Can’t wait to see how this expansion enhances our vibrant community hub!”
