Naomi Louise Meachum, 63, died Sept. 16, 2010 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.
Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Leavitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Maske officiating. The family greeted friends prior to the service at 2 p.m.
She was born Nov. 27, 1946 to Naomi Helms Meachum and the late Cecil Thomas Meachum. She was a textile worker.
Survivors in addition to her mother include: four children, David Tolbert; Mitchell Tolbert of Lancaster, S.C.; Melinda Tolbert Brown of Asheboro; and Frankie Tolbert of Kershaw, S.C.; also surviving are brothers, Cecil T. Meachum Jr. and Jerry Meachum, both of Wadesboro; and sisters, Martha Henry and Helen Sellers, both of Lilesville.
