Trio facing theft charges

Three people have been arrested in connection with a a break-in at the Cash and Carry convenience store early Tuesday.

Jamie Lynn Jackson, 29, of Wadesboro was charged with breaking and entering, larceny and injury to real property. He is being held at Anson County Jail on a $5,000 secured bond.

Mickey Buddy Gulledge, 31, of Wadesboro, was charged with the same.

Cheryl Kimrey Tucker, 41, of Norwood, was charged with the same along with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tucker and Gulledge have been released on a $5,000 secured bond each.

The Wadesboro Police Deapartment responded to the store at 1:55 a.m. after a passing motorist called police. The motorist had seen lights on in the store, according to interim chief Thedis Spencer.

The responding officer learned upon arrival the suspects had left in a white 1998 Dodge Dakota belonging to Tucker, who drove.

The vehicle was located and the officer made a stop.

The suspects took beer, tobacco products and energy drinks from the store.
