Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the robbery of the Wadesboro Waffle House on June 28 and a subsequent car jacking.
Anson County Sheriff’s Deputies and Wadesboro Police arrested three suspects in the June 28 armed robbery of the Waffle House restaurant and the car jacking in Ansonville shortly thereafter.

Detectives from both agencies arrested:

1) Jermaine Ahmad Davis, 21, of Mount Gilead;

2) Christopher Lee Thornton, 22, also of Mount Gilead;

and 3) Anthony Marquez Allen, 17, of Winston-Salem.

All three are charged with the Waffle House armed robbery and the armed car jacking that followed.

All three are in the Anson County Jail under bonds ranging from $30,000 to $150,000.

People like this need to be taught a lesson. Pull a gun on someone, try to steal and rob, get busted.

People are carrying guns and fighting back. I was taught, someone try to hurt you, defend yourself. Concealed weapon permit, anyone?

Word.

Another fine example of the fantastic law enforcement we have in Anson County and Wadesboro. They took very little to no information on the suspects and turned it into three major arrests of some very bad guys in a very short period of time. Congratulations to all the law enforcement involved. You guys did a great job!
