Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Feb. 8 at Smith's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Michael Chambers officiating. Interment followed the service at Williams Cemetery in Polkton.
He was born Nov. 26, 1956, to the late Evelyn Polk Hall Brown and Prince Albert Hall Sr. He attended the public schools of Anson and graduated in 1975 from Bowman High School.
He drove school buses for many years and worked in the Polkton School Cafeteria as well. He was baptized at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Polkton.
He as preceded in death by his uncle, Willie (Judy) Polk.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shonda Forte Hall of the home; two daughters, Dionna Lennon of Charlotte and Tamoka Ross of Wadesboro; two sons, Tyus Zakee hall of the home and Marcus Ledbetter of Wadesboro; one step-daughter, Dredian Sturdivant of the home; four grandchildren; three sisters, Rose (Willie) Hall Williams of Wadesboro, Tammy Hall and Shirley Hall, both of Polkton; three brothers, John Hall, Gregory Hall and Hubert Hall, all of Wadesboro; father-in-law, the Rev. James Forte; mother-in-law, Gloria Forte; aunts, Sarah (Roger) Burns, Annie (Melvin) Taylor, Candis Gaddy, Mary (Andrew) Polk, Ida Polk and Alice May Brown; uncles, Henry Mack Polk, Ernest (Dana) Polk, Lester (Judy) Polk and Willie Hall; sister-in-law Tamela Forte; brother-in-law, James (Shonda) Forte; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The services are in the care of Smith's Funeral Directors.
