Edna Elizabeth Springer, 60, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at Rockingham Manor in Rockingham, where she had been a resident for a number of years.
Services were held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, by the graveside in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery, Ansonville, with Rev. Robert Burr officiating.
The family greeted friends following the service in the Concord Church Fellowship Hall.
Edna was born June 24, 1949, in Anson County, a daughter of the late William Preston and Margaret Adams Springer and was a member of Cedar Hill United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her brothers and sister, William P. (Dianne) Springer of Cary, John (Cindy) Springer of Ansonville and Nancy (Bill) Hanna of Peachland and her nephews and niece, William P. (Deedie) Springer III, Bradley (Sarah) Springer, John (Stephanie) Springer, Matthew (Jessica) Springer, and Heather (Jason) Crump; and nine great-nieces and nephews.
