Eric Dewayne Lennon, 31
Eric Dewayne Lennon, 31, has been accused of having sexual intercourse with a juvenile under the age of 16, according to Captain Thedis Spencer of the Wadesboro Police Department. He declined to give the girl's age.
Lennon was arrested Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. The girl's mother discovered the relationship between the two and reported it to the police Jan. 17.
The relationship between the two took place before Thanksgiving, Spencer said. He described Lennon as a friend of the girl's family.
Lennon is being held at the Anson County Jail on a $350,000 bond. His court appearance is Feb. 16 at 9:30 p.m.
