The folks from Circle G Arena were one of several entries in the Lilesville Christmas parade who outfitted their float with Christmas lights and decorations, and threw candy out to the delighted kids.
The weather outside was a little frightful— with dense fog and chilly temperatures in the 40s— but a large crowd still made it out to Lilesville on Monday night, Dec. 14, for the annual Christmas parade. The parade started off years ago with just 13 entries but topped out at 68 this year, including a marching band, majorettes, lighted vehicles and floats, even a gigantic shopping cart and of course, Old St. Nick himself. After the parade, the town of Lilesville hosted a Christmas tree lighting in the town square, and cookies and hot chocolate at the fire department.
