Christopher Brian Caulder, 43, of Harriman, Tenn., and formerly of Anson County, died Oct. 11, 2009, at his home.
There was a service of worship celebrating his life at 6 p.m. Oct. 16 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro. The family greeted friends after the service until 9 p.m. and other times at the Harward home, 1043 Johnson Road, Polkton.
A private interment was held in Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery in Peachland.
He was born June 15, 1966, in Wadesboro to Shirley Honeycutt Caulder Harward and the late Boyce Legrand Caulder. He was a graduate of Anson High School and had a great career in the electrical supply business, having been employed at the time of his death with City Electric Supply in Tennessee.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Duncan and Mary Lampley Caulder, who were from Rockingham, and George W. Honeycutt and Evan and Bertha Starling Honeycutt Ricketts, who were from Wadesboro.
Surviving are his wife, Michelle Puckett Caulder, of the home; his daughter, Brooke Caulder of the home; his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Robert Harward of Polkton; his brothers and sister-in-law, Jeff Caulder of Clinton, Tenn., and Legrand and Sandy Caulder of Jacksonville, Fl.; his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Wheeler Buckingham of Polkton; his nephews and niece, Mitchell Caulder and wife, Brittany, Jason Caulder, Matthew Caulder, Tommy Buckingham and Payton Buckingham and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald and Jenelle Puckett of Matthews and a host of Caulder, Honeycutt, Ricketts and Harward aunts, uncles and cousins and their families.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Road, Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210 or to the local hospice organization of the donor’s choice.
