Delphia Faye Furr, 85, died July 29, 2009, at Autumn Care in Marshville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 1 graveside at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. at Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
She was born Dec. 9, 1923, to the late Lester Fulton and Ada Burgess Austin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Furr; brothers, David, Roy, Boyd, Vaden and Horace Austin; and sisters, Carrie and Ruby Austin.
She is survived by her son, Lance (Mary) Furr; brothers, R.V. Austin of Troy and Jack Austin of Marshville; sisters, Hazel Smith of Harrisburg, Carolyn Furr of New Salem and Melvia Love of Stanfield; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The services are in the care of Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
