Anson County kicking sewer customers while they're down

Just received a notice that our sewer rates are being increased... because Anson County increased their rates to the town of Lilesville. People have lost their jobs and are dealing with hourly cuts, how can you do this to your customers? Kick us some more, will you!

To Anson County, question: are you increasing the county as a whole or just Lilesville and other little towns who are on meter readings? If Anson County keeps on increasing rates for sewer/water, people will go back to septic tanks and water wells and cut you completely off... if we have to take it to a court for a judge to decide the outcome. Anson County cannot deny water/ sewer use; that would be inhumane.

Keep pushing us. I will call on the governor to step in and lock your rates! Maybe we should be cutting back the use of county utilities altogether! Then Anson County employees will lose their jobs for a change!
