Join the artists and staff of Olde Mill Gallery & Studios at the Lockhart-Taylor Center at 514 North Washington Street in Wadesboro for an exciting new show that exhibits the work of 47 regional artists. The show is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 28.

Please come enjoy a glass of wine or sparkling juice with cheese, crackers and fruit. Meet the artists and enjoy talking with them, asking questions about their work as they demonstrate various techniques. Artists working during the show include: Adgie James making jewelry; June Rollins exhibiting a watercolor technique; Lou Ann Ingram will work with her gourd art; Vicky McLain will show how she creates light in her oil paintings; Carol Benston will focus on her specialty of painting horses in acrylics; Leslie Snow will create Chinese Calligraphy; Gloria Mejia will paint on marble, possibly porcelain; Denny Maloney will work with metals in creating his art; Joe Madaras will demonstrate woodworking, showing several stages of a project; Cynthia Little and her quilters will work with their fabrics; Sheri Bowers will have her photography studio open; and Sheri Strawn will be displaying her WRAPABOUTZ, her original shoe accessory design.

Come enjoy a late afternoon with artists!
