Wadesboro Police Chief Janie Schutz described it as similar to a community watch meeting. The public is invited to attend, but a special invitiation is extended to the community on Salisbury Street, particularly the congregations of Ebenezer Baptist Church, East Rock Ford Baptist Church, New Parkers Grove Baptist Church and St. Mark Holiness Church.
Other officers and detectives will be present. The topics will include quality of life issues, personal and traffic safety and opening lines of communication. There will also be an opportunity for questions from the public.
