Ansonville Elementary School staff and students recently held a canned food drive. Principal Toby McLaurin organized a school-wide effort to gather as many canned foods as possible for families in need in the community.

The “Caring for Our Community with Canned Goods” became a friendly competition between A, B, and C Halls at AES. Each hall was asked to make a canned goods Christmas tree and decorate it. Judges viewed each tree and loved all three, so all three halls were declared winners!
