WADESBORO — Pernell Edward Harris, 47, died on Nov. 26, 2012 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Greater St. Mark Church of Deliverance with Apostle Leonard Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Memorial Park.

Harris was born Feb. 16, 1965 in Anson County, a son of Effie Rosa Lee Forte and Robert Harris. He was better known as “Flintstone” and was a jack of all trades, a great helper to his family, community and friends.

He is survived by his mother and father, both of Wadesboro; three sisters, Alice H. (Jonathan) Clegg, Rosalyn Harris, Effie G. (Everette) Williams; four brothers, Robbie M. Harris, Vernon L. Harris, Jermaine Harris and Al Grant (LaQuita) Collins, all of Wadesboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.
