PEACHLAND — Thelma Y. High, 80, passed away Nov. 23, 2012 at Anson Community Hospital.
She was born on Oct. 1, 1932 in Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim High.
Graveside services were held Monday at High Family Cemetery in Peachland. The family greeted friends after the service.
High is survived by her sons, Julian High of Peachland, and Joseph W. High Sr. and John F. High, both of Wadesboro; two sisters, Sarah Y. Hasty of Wingate and Betty Y. Stegall of Monroe; and five grandchildren.
Morgan & Son Funeral Home of Marshville was in charge of the arrangements.
