The town of Wadesboro's water plant measured one and three-quarter inches of snow.
The weather caused a two-hour delay for Anson County Schools Monday and Tuesday. The area was under a black ice advisory until about 9 a.m. Tuesday due to temperatures that dipped into the teens on Monday night.
"We didn't have any problems during the snow storm," Anson County Emergency Services Director Rodney Diggs said.
Diggs said there was some property damage caused by the storm, in addition to a few cars that slid into ditches.
Diggs said he knew of no power outages caused by the storm.
The National Weather Service forecast for Anson Wednesday was a high of 49 degrees and a low of 29 degrees, with a 0-percent chance of precipitation and a light southern wind. By this weekend, temperatures are forecast to reach the 70s.
