Parsons
Lawrence H. Parsons Jr. has been named the new correctional administrator at Lanesboro Correctional Institution.
An Anson County native, he graduated from Bowman Senior High School in 1982, and has worked in correctional institutions in Anson County since 1991. Parsons began his career at Union County Correctional Center in 1986. Since 1991, he has held a variety of positions at Anson County Correctional Center, Brown Creek Correctional Center and Lanesboro Correctional Institution.
He has been married for 26 years to Annie Parsons. The couple has two sons, Trae’ and Christopher, and three grandchildren, Madison, Katie and Devona.
Parsons is the son of Willett and the late Lawrence Parsons Sr.
