Cleveland Robinson Sr., 55, died Feb. 12, 2009 at his home in Wadesboro.
Funeral services were held Feb. 17 at 4 p.m. at Smith's Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Edward Leak officiating.
He accepted Christ at an early age and joined White Oak Baptist Church in Morven. He worked for more than 20 years at Wade Manufacture Textile in Wadesboro.
On Oct. 5, 1983, he was wed to Janice Dean. To this union, two children were born.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Allen, William, Melvin, Lenwood and Henry Robinson.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Robinson; two children, Tony (Chevonda) Dean of Monroe and Cleveland (Shaneta) Robinson Jr. of Wadesboro; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Dora Mae Gainey and Bertha L. Ratliff, both of Wadesboro; two brothers, Charles (Paulette) Robinson and Edward Robinson, both of Wadesboro; mother-in-law Aggie Dean of Wadesboro; four sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The services are in the care of Smith's Funeral Directors.
