Kathryn Emory of Wadesboro was named one of 35 2008 Main Street Champions at the North Carolina Main Street Annual Awards Dinner in Statesville on Jan. 29. She was presented the award by N.C. Secretary of Commerce J. Keith Crisco, left, and Assistant Secretary of Commerce Cleveland Simpson.
