Shirley Mae Medley Cuthbertson, 67, of Monroe, and formerly of Anson County, died July 30, 2012 at Hospice of Union County.

Funeral Services will be held at noon Aug. 4 at Greater Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Waxhaw with entombment to follow in the Lakeland Memorial Park Mausoleum in Monroe.

Cuthbertson was born Dec. 21, 1944 in the Lanesboro Township of Anson County to the late John Henry and Sadie Lee Boggan Medley.

She was married to the late Robert Cuthbertson, Jr. and she was employed by Tamarind Sportswear in Union County until its closing. She was also preceeded in death by two grandchildren, Willis Reynard McLendon and William Henry Reynolds-Collins.

She is survived by her children, Rosalyn L. Williams (Maurice) of Stone Mountain, Ga., Mark V. Culbertson of Sacramento, Ca., and Angela S. Collins(Otis) and Rita Culbertson, both of Monroe.

Public viewing will be held Aug. 3 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe.
