MARSHVILLE

Christine Kiker Nance (Chris), 79, died June 20, 2012.

She was born Sept. 11, 1932 in Anson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cannie Jerome Kiker and Mary Elizabeth Wallace Kiker, and her beloved husband, Roy T. Nance.

She was employed by Alltel Corp. as a manager prior to retiring after 42 years of service. After retiring, she began work for Morgan and Son Funeral Home and Marshville Florist.

Funeral services will be held June 21 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Morgan and Son Funeral Home. A private burial will be conducted at Deep Springs Baptist Church in Peachland.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Doster and husband, Mike, of Marshville; three sisters, Alice (Norris) Holmes of Marshville, Grace Lee Frank of Charlotte and Carolyn (Jerry A.) Phifer of Peachland; and four brothers, James E. Kiker of Monroe, Grady (Martha) Kiker of Midland, Glenn (Annis) Kiker of Marshville and Jimmy E. (Gloria) Kiker of Peachland.
