Kids of all ages participated in a costume contest during Uptown Wadesboro's Fall Festival on Saturday. Shown here, the 5 and under age group is judged for the most creative homemade costumes.
During the festival, all the costumed kiddies were able to trick-or-treat at uptown businesses, take a hayride to Buff Monkey Fitness Co. for more treats, listen to storytellers and win bags full of goodies in the noon costume contest.
Even the family pets got involved, as several dogs were seen in various costumes, trick-or-treating along with their owners.
Uptown Wadesboro, Inc., sponsors the annual event held uptown to help draw attention to local businesses, and celebrate Halloween in a fun, safe setting.
