Clara Howell Marsh, 87, died Oct. 23, 2011 in Anson Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert W. Rollins Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Anson Memorial Park.
She was born in Anson County Jan. 28, 1924, a daughter of the late Charles and Blanche Simpson Howell. She worked many years, first for both Ballet Hosiery and later for Hornwood, Inc.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Fred Ross Marsh of the home; and a daughter, Martha (Tony) Brock of Charlotte.
Her daughter, Mary Charles Ratliff, preceded her in death.
