Agnes Jackson Helms, 90, died July 20, 2011 at Autumn Care of Marshville.

She was born in Latta, S.C. to the late Archie & Ida Bane Jackson. She was wife, mother and caretaker for the Council on the Aging for Union County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Theron Helms Sr..

Graveside Services were held at 11 a.m. July 23 at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her children: Marilyn Purser of Monroe, Grady Theron Helms Jr. and his wife Betty of Raleigh, Jack Helms and his wife Judy of New London., Ann Helms of Locust, Randy Helms and his wife Joan of Wingate, and Dawn Helms Strawn and her husband Raymond of Flowery Branch, Ga.
