Lois Geneva Broadway Nance, 87, of Marshville, died April 5, 2011 at Jesse Helms Nursing Center in Monroe.
A funeral service was held Friday at 11 a.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church with burial following the service at the church cemetery.
She was born Dec. 13, 1923 to the late Clayton James Broadway and Mozelle Hill Broadway.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Osborn and Edna Biddix, both of Marshville; brother, John Bouton of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and sisters, Norma Kiker of Indian Trail, Joann Norcutt of New Port News and Dora Jean Broadway of Greensboro.
The services are in the care of Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
