The Anson County Board of Elections discussed upcoming board meetings and 2013 municipal election dates at its regular meeting on May 7. Board of Elections director Steve Adams presented the upcoming municipal election dates to both the board and meeting attendees. WADESBORO — Pee Dee Electric hosted its annual OSHA required Pole Top & Bucket Rescue training on May 9 at the corporate office in Wadesboro. Linemen from both Anson and Richmond counties attended the event, which focused on proper procedure for rescuing someone with potential injuries from the top of a power pole.
