The sun peeked out from behind the clouds and the rain stopped just in time for the start of the Anson County Partnership for Children’s Week of the Young Child Parade on Tuesday morning, May 15. Each year, children dress for a particular theme and walk in a parade held in uptown Wadesboro. This year’s theme is “Cinderella,” and all of the county’s pre-K students were treated to a free performance of the Taradiddle Players’ version of the classic fairy tale at the Ansonia Theatre, following the parade. More photos of the parade can be found on The Anson Record’s Facebook page.
