Councilwoman Susan Woodburn resigned from the Morven Town Council at Monday night’s regular monthly meeting.
Town Clerk Shemetra Melton said she did not give a reason for her resignation. Woodburn also served as the Mayor Pro-Tem, meaning she would preside over meetings in the absence of Mayor Houston Pratt.
Melton said no vote was held on a replacement in that capacity.
