Hornwood, Inc., of Lilesville, was the first company in Anson County to give a corporate donation to United Way of Central Carolinas’ annual campaign.
The textile manufacturer serves as an example to the rest of the community with their contribution to the umbrella organization for local humanitarian agencies. Hornwood is one of the largest contributors of the Anson County United Way campaign to the annual United Way campaign every year.
Last year, United Way allocated $77,000 to local agencies for educational and health programming.
