Wadesboro’s annual People Fest will take place this Saturday in uptown Wadesboro. The festivities will begin with a Pumpkin Run 5K and one-mile fun run/walk at 7:30 a.m.
Opening ceremonies for the festival will be held at 9 a.m. in the town square at the corner of Greene and Wade streets. The day will feature 111 vendors offering food, beverages, crafts, goodies for the kids and fun until 6 p.m.
