Anson County Parks and Recreation is sponsoring the Anson County Highland Games on Saturday.
The heavy athletic demonstration will be conducted by Southeastern Highland Athletics Group. The event is free to the public and will be held at Little Park in Wadesboro. The event will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Scottish Heavy Athletics includes stone throw, weight for distance, weight for height, sheaf toss, hammer throw, caber toss.
