Four Anson County Board of Education members were sworn into office on Nov. 28 by Mark Hammonds, Clerk of Courts.
Carol Ann Gibson, acting health department director for the county, was re-elected to the District 7 seat; Frank Liles replaces Michael Livingston for District 6; Beulah Pratt was re-elected to the District 3 seat; and Mike Turner replaces Daniel Wilson for District 1.
The next Anson County Board of Education meeting will be held on Dec. 17 at the Board of Education office in the Charles Riddle Staff Development. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. with closed session immediately following the opening of the meeting. Open session to the public will begin at 6:30 p.m.
