The Conference Tournament started on Monday. The Lady Cats finished with the fourth seed and therefore were scheduled to play on Monday against the Marvin Ridge Mavericks. The Lady Cats did well against the Mavericks, beating them 55-41.
On Wednesday, the Lady Cats went on to play the number one team in the conference, Porter Ridge. The Lady Cats started off struggling on both ends of the floor. By halftime, the Lady Cats had a total of 14 turnovers. However, Porter Ridge went on to beat the Lady Cats 67-31. Leading scorers were Ravonda Taylor with 9 points, and Chyrstal Cox with 7 points. Congratulations to both players: they were moved up from the JV team.
The Lady Cats will play in the first round of the state playoffs.
