PEACHLAND — Jeffrey Wayne Davis, 50, died Oct. 14, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at a later date in the National Cemetery in Salisbury. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
Davis was born Feb. 17, 1962 in Union County, a son of Patsy Carpenter Davis and the late Charles Davis. He was a carpenter and a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Persian Gulf War.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Geoffrey and Chelsea Davis of Indian Land, S.C.; his grandson, Charlie; his mother, Patsy Davis of Peachland; his fiance, Wanda Dennis of the home; and his brothers, Rodney Davis of Wingate and Edward Davis of Tega Cay, S.C.
In lieu of flowers, the family will be establishing a trust for his grandson, Charles Ryder Davis. Details will be shared when available.
