Ashton Leigh Drye of Polkton and Johnny Lane Chappell Jr. have announced their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Ricky and Sandra Drye of Peachland. She is a 2007 graduate of Anson High School, where she served as valedictorian, and a 2011 graduate of Wingate University, where she earned a B.S. degree in mathematics with a double minor in accounting and finance. She’s currently an assistant bookkeeper at Randall Supply, Inc., in Monroe.
The groom-to-be is the son of Johnny and Margaret Chappell of Rockingham. He is a 1990 graduate of Richmond Senior High, and is currently employed as a salesman at Randall Supply, Inc., in Monroe.
The wedding is planned for 3 p.m. Aug. 11, 2012 at Red Hill Baptist Church in Ansonville.
