Douglas B. High, 73, of Peachland, died April 13, 2011 at his home.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with burial after the service at Marshville City Cemetery.
He was born April 29, 1937 in Anson to the late Seaburn and Minnie Helms High.
He is survived by his wife Doris; son, Doug High Jr. and wife Debbie of Marshville; and daughter, Pam H. Rummage and husband Eric “Spank” of Wingate.
The services are in the care of Morgan & Son Funeral Home.
