Blue-Worley wedding

Iris Dawn Blue and Carroll Andrew Worley, both of Wadesboro, were married at the Woodmen of the World Lodge on Highway 74 West in Wadesboro on Feb. 25, 2012.

The bride is the daughter of the late Bobby and Helen Blue of Rockingham, and graduated from Richmond Sr. High in 1985. She holds a two-year accounting degree and currently works as a rural carrier for the Wadesboro post office.

The groom is the son of the late James and Effie Worley. He is a 1978 graduate of Pisquah High in Canton. He currently works at Precision Saw Works in Polkton.

For the wedding, the bride wore a white silk long-sleeve V-neck gown with beading. The train was silk with white bow and lace. The bride carried a bouquet of purple and cream-colored flowers.

Maid of Honor was Lisa Vierling of High Point. She wore a dark purple dress with beading. Flower girl was Kristen Hildreth, daughter of the bride.She wore a white sleeveless dress with lace.

The best man was Jeremy Worley, son of the groom, of Brevard. Ringbearer was Mekhi Letta of Greensboro.

The couple now resides in Wadesboro.
