Services were held at 2 p.m. July 6 in Concord United Methodist Church where she lied in state for 30 minutes before the service. The Rev. Robert D. Burr Sr. officiated and burial will be in the church cemetery. The family received friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.
Woodall was born Sept. 28, 1949, in Anson County to the late Millard Cleveland Howell and Maebelle Smith Howell of Wadesboro.
She was employed by Anson County Health Department and was a member of Concord United Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to her mother are her husband, Donald Woodall of the home; a daughter and husband, Kim and David Higdon of Ayden; two sons, Donnie and David Woodall, both of Raleigh; three brothers, M.C. Howell of Monroe, Bob Howell of Durham, Gary Howell of Salisbury, Md.; two sisters, Nancy Funderburke and Debbie Allen, both of Wadesboro; and one grandson.
