Burnsville Recreation and Learning Center Emergency Food Pantry has received a large shipment of TEFAP products. The food commodities are provided by the United States Department of Agriculture. The U.S. federal income guidelines will be the determining factor for each individual’s eligibility. Canned beef stew left from November’s commodities will be available until it is all given out.
The food items will be made available to only Ansonians that qualify. The BRLC does not discriminate for any reason. The foods will be distributed on the fourth Tuesday of the month, Dec. 24.
All individuals that plan to take advantage of these items will need to register promptly at 9 a.m. in order to be served. Each family will only be provided these commodities once a month to one adult per family.
Due to Christmas being on Wednesday, BRLC will also distributed the emergency food on the fourth Tuesday, along with the TEFAP items. Each individual is asked to bring a copy of their proof of income if you are not already re-certified.
