My name is Scott Clontz. I’m manager of the local office of NCWorks Career Center- Anson (formerly the Employment Security Commission).

A few weeks ago, I thought I was having a serious, personal medical event. Upon the advice of my doctor, I rushed to CHS Anson Emergency Department. From the moment I arrived until I was discharged, I was treated with the utmost respect, concern, dignity and care. There are not enough pages in a newspaper for me to describe the wonderful care I received at CHS Anson. Personally, I don’t think kings, presidents or any other dignitary would have been treated any better than I was. It appeared to me that each and every staff person performed above and beyond the call of duty. They know their job and performed their job well.

Anson County may have a few faults, but CHS Anson is not one of them and is a shining jewel in the Anson County crown. It is comforting to know that we do not have to leave the county for good health care. Ansonians should be proud. I certainly am.
