Anson County 4-H will host Fun Day at Tractor Supply Company for the second year in a row on Saturday.

There will be activities for all ages, including both youth and adults. Carolinas HealthCare System-Anson, Anson County Partnership for Children and N.C. Forest Services are all partnering with Anson County 4-H.

Participants will have a chance to have health screenings, learn about the robotics program and operate the robot, eat snow cones, listen to music, win free giveaways and much more. The event is free.

Fun Day is held to support the Paper Clover Campaign that 4-H does in partnership with Tractor Supply Stores around the county.

The Paper Clover Campaign is held in the spring and fall of each year. During this semi-annual event, 4-H asks all businesses, community partners, friends and family to support 4-H. One hundred percent of each dollar goes to 4-H, and 75 percent of all funds collected support local and state 4-H programs in Anson.

Anson County 4-H uses the money that is raised to help with expenses for county-wide programming, including teen leadership programs, school enrichment programs and summer programs for youth ages 5 to 14. This money helps with program supplies, presenters, and keeping cost at a minimum for participants. Those who cannot attend Fun Day can still support 4-H by stopping in Tractor Supply and purchasing a paper clover for $1 from April 26 through May 7.

Fun Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Tractor Supply in Wadesboro.
