JV Bearcats lose at home against Cuthbertson, 35-6

The Bearcats JV football team lost their home game on Thursday to Cuthbertson, 35-6.

By the end of the first quarter, the Bearcats were already down 28-0. The Cavaliers made another touchdown and PAT halfway through the second quarter, bringing the score up to 35-0.

Anson finally made a touchdown in the third quarter. With about two minutes left in the quarter, Jaquaylyn Robinson (#21) made a touchdown. An attempted two-point conversion failed, but the Bearcats brought the score up in their favor to 35-6. Neither team scored in the fourth quarter, leaving the final score at 35-6, Cuthbertson.

The JV team will play at home again this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. against Monroe. Varsity will play a Southern Carolina Conference game at home against Sun Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 for senior night.
